A study published in the Lancet-Global health
journal (http://www.thelancet.com/pdfs/journals/langlo/PIIS2214-109X%2814%2970381-X.pdf)
shows that Cameroon is amongst the top countries in the world with the
healthiest diet. Chad and Mali, two low income African counties, scored best
for healthy diets. Scoring lowest for healthy foods were European countries
including Belgium and Hungary. This study assessed the quality of diet in 197
countries, covering almost 4.5 billion adults, 90% of the global
population. See map for countries with best (in green) and worst (in red diet)
diet.
Before we forget, the study also showed that women
eat better than men and older people eat better than the young.
Cameroon is up on this and at Camerpeers we are
loving this!!!!!.
